Privacy policy

This is a translation. If it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.
This policy explains which personal data LanguageNotFound Translator (“the service”) processes, why, for how long, and what rights you have.
1. Who is responsible
The controller is me, the developer of LanguageNotFound Translator. For anything related to your data, write to me at support@lnftranslator.com.
2. What stays on your computer
The program translates on your computer. I never receive:
- any text from a game, a mod or a translation;
- any path, file name or list of mods from your computer;
- any usage data: which game, into which language or how many lines.
The program contains no telemetry and no analytics.
3. What I process, and why

I do not request your name, email address or payment details from Patreon, and I never see your Patreon password.
4. Cookies
The public pages of this website set no cookies and load nothing from third parties. The pages where you sign in with Patreon use a single session cookie that is strictly necessary for signing in and is used for nothing else.
5. Who else processes data
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website, the licence server and its database, and routes email sent to my addresses. It acts as my processor. Transfers to the United States rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
- My email provider stores the support messages you send me, as my processor.
- Patreon, Inc. manages your Patreon account and your payments as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy.
The program also connects to two services on its own. I receive nothing from these connections:
- the public OPUS-MT model repository of the University of Helsinki, hosted by CSC – IT Center for Science (Finland), the first time you prepare a language, to download its translation model;
- the machine translation provider you choose, only if you enter your own API key. The text goes directly from your computer to that provider, under its own terms.
6. How long I keep data
- Membership and computer records: while you are a member and 21 days after your membership ends, which is when the last licence issued to you stops working. Then they are deleted.
- Pairing codes: 10 minutes, or until used.
- Download records: 90 days.
- Support messages: 90 days after the last message.
7. Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of its processing and its portability, and you can object to its processing. Write to me at support@lnftranslator.com. You can unlink your computers yourself from your account page.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es), or the authority of the country where you live.
8. Changes
When this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date. Significant changes are also announced on my Patreon page.
