This is a translation. If it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.
1. About these terms
These terms govern the use of the LanguageNotFound Translator program and of this website, which I, its developer, provide (“I”, “me”). Linking the program to your account means you accept them. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have by law as a consumer.
2. Access and payment
Access requires an active membership in a qualifying tier of my Patreon page. Payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Patreon under its own terms. A gifted membership, or one cancelled during a period already paid, counts as active until that period ends.
3. Licence
While your membership is active, I grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the program on up to 2 computers. You can unlink a computer from your account page up to 3 times a month.
4. How the licence check works
- The program holds a licence that is valid for 14 days and renews itself whenever the program starts with an internet connection.
- Without a connection, it keeps working for 7 more days after the licence expires.
- If your membership ends, the program stops working when its current licence runs out: at most 21 days later.
- For computers without internet access, a licence file can be downloaded from your account page.
- Setting the computer’s clock back does not extend a licence.
5. What you may not do
- share, sell, rent or distribute the program or its licence files;
- share your account with other people;
- remove, disable or get around the licence check;
- decompile or reverse-engineer the program, except where the law expressly allows it.
If you do, I may revoke your access.
6. Your files
The program works on the games and mods on your computer, and everything it produces — the translation memory, the backups and the translated mods — stays there. You are responsible for using it with games you own and for respecting the terms of each game and each mod: publishing a translated mod usually requires the permission of its original author.
7. Third parties
LanguageNotFound Translator is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bethesda Softworks, ZeniMax Media, Microsoft, Valve, Patreon or the makers of any mod manager. Game names are trademarks of their owners.
The translation models are downloaded from the OPUS-MT project under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence; the program keeps their licence and attribution next to each model. If you use a machine translation provider with your own API key, its terms and its prices apply.
8. Updates and changes
Updates to the program are available while your membership is active. I may change these terms; significant changes will be announced on my Patreon page at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree with them, you can cancel your membership.
9. Warranty and liability
The program modifies game and mod files, so keep a copy of anything you cannot replace. As far as the law allows, I am not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes my liability for intent or gross negligence, or your legal rights regarding the conformity of digital content.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live and can go to its courts.
